The original band of Elvis Presley live on stage. The King’s best friends up close and personal. A luxury ship with the highest standards, and a one week trip to the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean Sea. These are the ingredients of the TCB Cruise, a cruise that pays tribute in an inimitable way to the greatest entertainer of all times.
When the Norwegian Epic departs from the Port of Barcelona on 23 September 2012, all passengers will start a dream journey through time. Never before have more friends and musicians of Elvis Presley been on one place together. Never before has the Elvis world been more complete and never before have the fans from all over the world had the possibility to be so close to the King’s companions.
The TCB Cruise reunites the musicians who toured with Elvis in the 70’s. Guitar hero James Burton, keyboard big hit Glen D. Hardin and classy drummer Ronnie Tutt have been successfully performing together with Austrian singer Dennis Jale for years now. There will be a surprise on the bass: Norbert Putnam, member of the famous Nashville Session Band who, for the first time after all those years, will support his long-time friends.
Also on board are top-class members of the Memphis Mafia, the bodyguard group, who lived with Elvis in Graceland and accompanied him on his tours. Joe “Diamond” Esposito (he also managed concerts for Michael Jackson), is one of the guests as well as Jerry Schilling.
Probably the biggest sensation is Linda Thompson. The long-time love of Elvis will be joined by her brother, Elvis’ bodyguard, Sam Thompson. On the TCB Cruise Linda will, together with James Burton’s and Ronnie Tutt’s wives, talk about possibly their most exciting but also bizarre time of their lives. For the fans, Linda will revive a legend, one of its kind which may not exist in the music world a second time.
